Chi Nei Tsang is a specialized abdominal massage that works directly on your internal organs. A deep sensitive touch engages your body's natural ability to heal itself. Immediately following treatment, you will benefit from the results of better organ function, resulting in both physical and emotional healing. It works fast, efficiently and offers long lasting results.
Traditional Chinese bodywork invigorates the core, promotes natural healing, transforms stress and releases chronic pain. CNT is especially helpful in resolving digestive issues.
Detoxifies & Invigorates
Chi Nei Tsang stimulates the lymphatic and circulatory systems and "wakes up" the organs. In doing so, the body is able to relieve stagnation and efficiently detoxify itself.
Helps Restructure & Strengthen the Physical Body
The work done on the internal organs improves their functioning and positioning. When this tension is released, improvements with chronic pain are relieved, such as in the neck, back and shoulder. Realignment of the pelvis helps with postural problems, which affect the feet, knees and hips.
Promotes Emotional Digestion
Emotions are a part of our lives. When we encounter events that are difficult for us to work through, our body stores these feelings. In time, we may come to terms with some of these emotions, and we learn to work through them. Other emotions are just too difficult for us to process and we are unable to deal with them. Chi Nei Tsang helps the client to process these deep-seated emotions and find clarification. This "working through", helps clients to evolve and grow in the direction of their better self. CNT is successfully used in combination with psychotherapy.
Teaches Clients to Work on Themselves
In this practice, the client is a "student". Natural healing and a holistic approach to health and wellbeing require that the student must accept the responsibility for his/her own health and work towards improvement. Breathing and fundamental self-help massage techniques are taught as well as nutrition and health related lifestyle matters. To truly heal, the "healing must come from within".

Are there any medical reasons I could not have the treatment?
Chi Nei Tsang should not be performed on people who have certain medical conditions. For example, if you have an abdominal implant, inguinal hernia or are pregnant, you should not receive CNT treatments.
How many treatments will I need?
Everyone is different, but generally, a set of 5-7 sessions is indicated with 1-3 weeks between each treatment. A regular rhythm encourages the body not to slip back into pattern; the space between each treatment honours the body-mind-spirit, by allowing it time for integration.
Where did this treatment come from?
Chi Nei Tsang originated in the remote mountain monasteries of Ancient China. Taoist monks needed high levels of energy for their demanding spiritual practices. To detoxify, strengthen and refine their bodies they developed Chi Nei Tsang.
